For the Rapids City Times

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Five little old ladies get together to bake pies for the annual church supper and end up in jail – that’s the premise of Wisconsin Rapids Community Theatre (WRCT)’s Silver Foxes spring production.

“The Pie Ladies” and “The Pie Ladies Make Bail” will be presented in one performance, on May 24 at 2 p.m. in the WRCT auditorium, 220 Third Ave. S, Wisconsin Rapids.

The production is directed by Lucy Runnells. Lucy says, “Come for the entertainment; stay for the pies!” Several local restaurants and individuals are donating pies to be served during intermission.

The WRCT Silver Foxes is a senior reader’s theatre, producing two main stage shows each year and several off-site productions.

For more information, contact the WRCT office by phone at 715-421-0435 or visit www.wrctheatre.org.
