Video released in Jimmy John’s robbery

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department (WRPD) has released video obtained from the armed robbery that occurred May 20 at the  Jimmy John’s restaurant, 2020 Eighth St. S.

A Jimmy John’s staff member stated that the suspect entered the restaurant, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. The employee did as instructed and the suspect fled the store. An undetermined amount of money was stolen during the robbery.

Video footage reveals the interior of the restaurant showing the suspect, as well as exterior footage of the man removing his outer clothing and walking westbound towards 7th Street South, following the robbery.
