Riverkings get commitments from DeLaat, two international players

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Riverkings Defenseman Brett DeLaat has committed to play for the 2018-19 season and attend school at Aurora University, NCAA D3.
DeLaat is coming off a breakout season for the Riverkings, having produced 42 points in 44 games. The 6’3” 205-lb Kenosha native has a 4.3 GPA and was a team captain. He has received Top Defenseman and most improved awards.
The Riverkings have also announced the signing of two international players, as 98 forward Gabriel Devereux-Smith, from Floreat, Australia, becomes the first ever Riverking from “down under.”
The 20-year-old rightwing from western Australia would like to further his hockey career in NCAA hockey.
The Riverkings have also signed 98 forward from France, Jordan Enselmoz.
Jordan is a skilled left-shot 6’1”, 180-lb forward. Jordan played at Brighton Academy last year. Enselmoz also has aspirations to play in the NCAA.
The Wisconsin Rapids RiverKings are a Junior A hockey team participating in the United States Premier Hockey League. They are coached by Martin Quarters.
