Aspirus earns wound care excellence

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Aspirus Riverview Wound & Hyperbarics in Wisconsin Rapids recently received the 2017 Robert A. Warriner III, M.D. Center of Excellence Award for excellence in wound healing.
To earn the Center of Excellence Award, Aspirus Riverview Wound & Hyperbarics achieved outstanding clinical outcomes for 24 consecutive months, including patient satisfaction rates higher than 92 percent, and a healing rate of at least 91 percent in less than 30 median days.
Located within Aspirus Riverview Hospital, Aspirus Riverview Wound & Hyperbarics offers highly specialized wound care to patients suffering from diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, infections, and other chronic wounds which have not healed in 30 days.
