Multiple injuries in Lake Wazeecha boat crash

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – According to Wisconsin DNR Conservation Warden Korey Trowbridge, several people were injured when a boat crashed into the shoreline of Lake Wazeecha, in the town of Grand Rapids.

Five people were on board the boat when it crashed yards from the South Wood County Park boat landing around 12:30 p.m. on June 16.

The DNR, Wood County Sheriff’s Department, and Grand Rapids Police responded.

The accident remains under investigation.
