Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings have announced the signing of 99 forward, Thimo Ey, from Metamora, MI, as Coach Quarters returned to his old stomping grounds to add the former Honeybaked U18 goal score.

Thimo  played for Coach Bob Mainhardt and will be prepared to make the step to junior hockey.

Coach Quarters said: “Thimo is a proven goal score and can play all three forward positions. This is a player that fits our culture which is based on hard work and high character. Thimo is a very competitive player and also a dedicated student, he already has a plan on which NCAA schools he wants to attend and is being recruited to play hockey and study to be an engineer.

“Our staff felt Thimo was a very important signing as we strive to continue to be a top team in the USPHL Premier, and we went hard after him”.
