Community blood drives at Aspirus in July

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Aspirus Riverview Hospital, along with the Blood Center of Northcentral Wisconsin, hosts community blood drives twice monthly in the hospital’s lower level conference center.
The July blood drives will be held July 17, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and July 23, 2-7 p.m.
No appointment is needed. To accommodate donors, there are six donor chairs available.
Anyone with questions regarding their blood donation eligibility is encouraged to call the Blood Center at 866-566-5900. People with medical conditions, are taking any medications, or have had piercings in the last 12 months are asked to call the Blood Center before attending a blood drive to find out if they are eligible to donate.
Blood donated at the Aspirus Riverview Hospital blood drives is used to help patients in our own community, as well as throughout central Wisconsin.
