Rangers take conference

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — With a 11-1 win over Stevens Point on July 17, the Wisconsin Rapids Rangers have won the Wisconsin Valley Legion League conference, with a 10-4 conference record and 19-5 overall. This is the third time since the league started conference records in 1986 that the Rangers taken the conference. The last time was in 2005. Rangers are now switching gears and looking toward regional competition. Regionals start July 20 at Witter Field. The Rangers play at 7 p.m.
