Residents asked to boil water once service resumes

By Hub City Times staff

MARSHFIELD – The village of Vesper was without water the evening of July 24, following a water main break that discharged 10,000 gallons of water from the village water tower.

Vesper officials say that they will continue to work on the issue overnight and that water should be restored to most homes in the village by the morning of July 25.

When water is restored, residents are highly encouraged to boil the water before consuming. A public notice is being distributed to village residents providing instruction on what should be done once the issue is repaired.
