WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Two candidates are vying for the Wood County clerk of courts position on the Aug. 14 primary ballot. Both candidates are running on the Republican ticket, with no Democrats entering the race.

Challenger Brad Kremer, of Pittsville, will face 20-year incumbent Cindy Joosten, Wisconsin Rapids. Recently, Wood County media sat down with both candidates:
