Dear Wood County voters,

I am writing this letter to the editor because I am voting for Shawn Becker to be the next Sheriff of Wood County and I hope you will too.

Shawn is very dedicated to his family, friends, community, and the Wood County Sheriff s Department. I am extremely proud of Shawn and very proud to call him my friend.

Shawn has worked for the Wood County Sheriffs Department for over 20 years. I first met Shawn
when I was a member of the Wood County Sheriffls Rescue for 13 years. Shawn was a road deputy then and was an accident reconstructionist for the Sheriffs Department. When Shawn would arrive at the scene of the accident he was very professional about his duties and would often ask a member of the Wood County Sheriffs Rescue to help record measurements.

I truly believe that Shawn Becker is the right choice for the next Sheriff of Wood County. He has
worked very hard to advance up through the ranks of the Wood County Sheriffs Department to his current rank of Captain of the Patrol Division. Shawn has over 2O years of awesome dedication and experience with the Sheriffs Department. He is also very active in several organizations in the community of Wisconsin Rapids.

Please join me on Aug. 14 and vote for Shawn Becker in the Primary to help him
move forward as the next sheriff of Wood County.

Sincerely,
Tim Bassett
Wisconsin Rapids, WI
