Dear editor,

Since 1999, Wood County residents have had the most dedicated and qualified individual to serve as Clerk of Circuit Court in their home county. It is experience and commitment to Wood County Circuit Court that sets Cindy Joosten apart.

It takes many years of knowledge and specialized training to manage the general business and financial operations of the circuit court to the exemplary level that Cindy has. As clerk in a neighboring county, I have reached out to Cindy as a mentor, to answer the tough questions that arise every day in this position. She is relied upon throughout the state, as a leader because of her expertise with court records management, collection of fines, forfeitures and costs, and support of courtroom operations including courtroom security.

On Aug. 14, consider who has successfully served this position for nearly twenty years and re-elect Cindy Joosten!
