Aspirus welcomes new podiatrist

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Aspirus Podiatry Associates has welcomed Podiatrist Jared Scherr, DPM, who will care for patients at Aspirus Riverview Clinic.
Originally from Trempealeau, Dr. Scherr earned a biology degree from Viterbo University, La Crosse. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, IA.
Dr. Scherr completed his podiatry residency at William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital at UW Health. Madison. He takes a special interest in forefoot surgery, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine, and diabetic limb salvage. In his leisure time, he enjoys sports, outdoor activities, and cheering for the Badgers and Packers.
“I have tremendous compassion for my patients – getting to know them, understanding their needs, and in turn, helping to treat and prevent disorders affecting their feet and ankles,” said Dr. Scherr. “I am thrilled to practice and raise a family in central Wisconsin.”
