Laura L. Leonhard, 46, Auburndale, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018 following a car accident.

A Celebration of Life will be held on a date to be determined.

Laura was born on December 23, 1971 in Marshfield, the daughter of Allen and Shirley (Geiger) Baehr and was raised on the family farm in Unity. She was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, William K. Leonhard on July 27, 1991 at Ebenezer United Church of Christ, Stratford.

Laura was very outgoing and began a successful career in lending in the year 2000. She assisted thousands of happy clients to achieve home ownership. All of her clients knew her to have a zest for life and a genuine passion to help anyone. Laura and her team were nationally recognized year after year for their excellent service.

She followed the family tradition of tractor pulling and had her own John Deere tractor, “All Buck’d Up”. Her son, Jordan has piloted the “All Buck’d Up” tractor to many victories over the past seven years and Laura was well known as “Mama Leonhard” in many pulling circuits.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Bill and their children, Erica (Brandon) Wagner and Jordan (fiancé – Jessica Plank) all of Marshfield. Jordan and Erica will make Laura proud and continue her legacy of Mortgage Experts Team of Waterstone Mortgage.

She is also survived by her parents, Allen and Shirley Baehr of Sun Prairie, and her siblings, Annette (Jeffrey) Molitor of Dorchester, Patricia (Patrick) Schaefer of Sun Prairie, Rhonda “Sue” (Michael) Foley of Portage, Jennifer (Corey) Gipp of Hatley, and David (Rachel) Baehr of Sun Prairie. She is further survived by 17 nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca “Bec” Treige and a nephew, Ryan Molitor.
