Hunter Falls

Hunter H. Falls, age 85, of the town of Rome, died Sunday September 2, 2018 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday September 7, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nekoosa. Rev. John Swing will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday at Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home in Nekoosa and Friday at church from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. A Knights of Columbus and Parish Rosary Service will be held at 6:30 PM Thursday at the funeral Home. Entombment will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at the Chapel of the Flowers of Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield. The family will greet relatives and friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Saturday at the cemetery.

Hunter was born December 7, 1932 in Gaston County, North Carolina to Calvin and Ola Lee (Bumgerner) Falls. He married Margaret Marx on August 30, 1952 at Camp McCoy. Hunter served in the US Army during the Korean War. For many years he was employed as a union carpenter in the Milwaukee area.

Hunter was a member of the Sacred Heart/St. Alexander Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed working on old cars and was a former member of a Model T club. In earlier years he served as a scout master for the Boy Scouts. Hunter was a loving husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Margaret Falls; four children Dan (Mary) Falls of Campbellsport, Tim (Christine) Falls of Batavia, IL, Terry (Denise) Falls of New Berlin and Diane (Robert) Milosz of Pewaukee; Grandchildren Michelle (Jeremy) Kruckeburg, Brad (Chelsea), Alex (Diana), Matthew, Joseph, Cody, Justin (Valerie), Rebecca (Phillip) Pogacar, Ben (Anete), Jessica (Colin) Raupp, Davey, Derek, Mandy Milosz, Meghan (John) Robinson; Great Grandchildren Zak Milosz, Anders Kruckeburg, Liliana Pogacar and Jaxon Hunter Falls.

Hunter was preceded in death by his parents; his son Jeff Falls; grandson Dillon Milosz; three brothers and three sisters.
