For the Rapids City Times

WISCONSIN RAPIDS– In celebration of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Month, as proclaimed by Governor Scott Walker, the Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce will spend the entire month bringing attention to the services they provide to members and the community.

Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce is an advocate for its members, and Wisconsin Chamber Month gives the organization an opportunity to recognize the value each one.

“Local chambers are outstanding advocates of business communities around our great state,” said Krista Coon, interim president of the Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce. “We foster a greater sense of businesses community, identify emerging leaders, and advocate on behalf of small and large businesses. The Heart of Wisconsin stands behind our mission to empower network to promote: people, businesses, resources.”

To celebrate Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Month, Heart of Wisconsin will be hosting community events and special programs, including  the 18th Annual Downtown Grand Affair, Sept. 9; Business Education Series: Buying and Leasing Commercial Real Estate, Sept. 20; Local on First Business After Hours, Sept. 20; Secretary of Transportation, Sept. 24; and Coffee with the Chamber, Sept. 26.
