Larry E. Baltus, age 54, of Rudolph, WI died Thursday, September 13, 2018 at his home of natural causes.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Town of Sigel, WI. Father Nathan will officiate. Visitation will be at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI from 4:00-7:00 PM Monday and Tuesday at the Church from 9:30-10:30 AM. Burial will be at Holy Rosary Parish Cemetery. Larry’s nieces and nephews will be pallbearers.

Larry was born April 21, 1964 to Jim and Jeanette (Sedall) Baltus. He was employed at Marathon Feeds in Marathon, WI.

Larry enjoyed playing cards, cribbage and trips to the casino.  He was well known in his younger years for playing softball on several teams in leagues and tournaments throughout Wisconsin, after finishing a stellar career as a pitcher for the Lincoln High School baseball team.  He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1982.

Larry was a member and usher at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.  He was also an active member of the Rudolph Lions Club.

Larry was known for being dedicated to his work and family. He was somewhat quiet, but was very generous with his money and time and would do anything for anyone.

Larry is survived by his mother, Jeanette Baltus of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; four sisters, Evie (Todd) Nielsen of Wausau, WI, Anne (Tom) Iwanski of Hewitt, Carol Livernash of Rudolph, WI and Emmy (Ron) Joosten of Rudolph, WI; two brothers, Jim (Denise) Baltus of Billings, MT and Gary (Darlene) Baltus of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews, along with many close friends. Larry was godfather to Michael Iwanski, Stacy Livernash and Mandi Kenfield.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Jim and brother, Fran, as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents.
