Country group to launch Arts Council season
For the Rapids City Times
WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Acclaimed country group, “Farewell Angelina” will take the stage Oct. 19 to kick off the Arts Council season schedule.
Rolling Stone bills Farewell Angelina as “one of the top 10 country artists you should know” and describes their act as “wickedly smart songwriting, delivered with a healthy dash of sass…deft playing…into one sonic knockout punch.” This all-female country group features four powerhouse vocalists who are also dynamic songwriters and accomplished multi-instrumentalists. Together their magic blend of a multitude of stringed instruments, two blazing violins, and unique harmonies have taken Nashville by storm. That enthusiasm is now spreading via word of mouth, social media, and live shows that bring down the house.
Farewell Angelina’s chemistry lives in watching each other shine. The relationship they share with their fans won them the fan-voted “Hot Seat” spot of the Taste of Country 2017 “RISERS” Program by over 20,000 votes. These ladies leave everything they have on stage every night. They strive to create a moment—not for their audience, but with their audience. Expect these four strong women to deliver sophisticated songs that matter to fans who are hungry for real depth, artistry, and perspective, while gracing the stage with their energy, attitude, and allure.
