Jesse C. Joosten, age 93, of Rudolph, WI died Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Atrium of Wisconsin Rapids.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at St. Philip’s Catholic Church, Rudolph, WI. Fr. Dave Bruener will officiate. Visitation will be at St. Philip’s Church on Wednesday from 9:30-11:00 AM. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jesse’s grandchildren.

Jesse was born March 14, 1925 in the Township of Rudolph, WI to Martin and Anna (Stelzer) Joosten. He married Margaret Pongratz on November 3, 1956 at St. Philip’s Catholic Church in Rudolph, WI. Jesse was employed at Consolidated Papers Inc for 42 years retiring in 1986. He loved farming.

Jesse is survived by his wife, Margaret; three sons, Gerald (Jill) Joosten, Wayne (Kris) Joosten and Ron (Emma) Joosten; five daughters, JoAnn (Paul) Hetze, Konnie (Richard) Schmidt, Lynn (special friend- Clarence Kitowski) Ostrowski, Kay (Steve) Zimmerman and Sally (Bob) Kilps; 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Joosten and Virginia Joosten.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Donald Joosten, Raymond Joosten, Melvin Joosten, Gene Joosten and Warren Joosten and one sister, Dorothy Majinski.
