Peggy Ann Marcoux, age 56, of Wisconsin Rapids passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Wisconsin Rapids, after a long courageous battle with cancer.

A Life Celebration for Peggy will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday October 16, 2018 at Herman- Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids.

Peggy was born on September 27, 1962 to Lowell and Shirley (DeBevec) Rucker in Marshfield, WI. She married David Marcoux on August 9, 1990 in Sturgis, SD. They were blessed with two daughters. Peggy enjoyed riding motorcycles and feeling the wind in her face. She also enjoyed her garden of plants and flowers.

Her life’s work was taking care of her family as a stay at home mother. She provided her family with unconditional love. Some of the kids most precious memories were of the holidays when she would personalize her gifts, no matter the occasion; they were always meaningful and thoughtful. Peggy will be remembered for her excellent cooking abilities, she could never make the same dish twice since she never wrote or used recipes. Her famous sugar cut out cookies were made for most holidays; complete with homemade frosting and sprinkles. Her talents didn’t stop at baking and cooking.  She was also known for making jewelry and crafts and trying new things. Peggy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is loved and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband, David; her daughters: Kellie (Dylan) Eggebrecht and Jessie (Dillon Erdman) Marcoux; her grandson: Raylan Eggebrecht; her mother, Shirley Hutter; siblings: Steve (Diane) Rucker, Kirk (Lynette) Rucker, Ken (Sherri) Rucker, Tim (Joanne) Rucker, Mike (Vonnie) Rucker, Brenda Rucker, and Sue Rucker. She was preceded in death by her father; stepfather, Harold Hutter and her sister, Deborah Schweke.

Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Marcoux family.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.taylorfuneralhome.net.
