WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Ginzl Insurance and the Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce cut the ribbon on Ginzl’s 540 Pepper Avenue location in a ceremony held Oct. 17.

“Ginzl Insurance has been a dream of mine for many years, but I really hadn’t any plans to do so,” said owner Laurie Ginzl. “I have been a part of the insurance industry for nearly 30 years.

“Changes within my previous employer gave me the opportunity to take the leap. In 2014, I made the decision to make the dream a reality. It has been overwhelming and fantastic all at the same time. My clients have made it all possible. I was amazed at how they really encouraged me and showed their support.”

Laurie also thanked the two agents who will be joining her in the business – Deb Donahue and Julie Stratton – as well as her mother who couldn’t be there and had always hoped that Laurie would take the step.

“Ginzl Insurance is 100 percent locally owned and operated independent insurance agency,” Laurie stated. “Here, we truly do appreciate our customers and our service reflects this. We strive to make everyone feel welcome when they walk through our door. You’re part of the family.”
