PEEF kicks off financial campaign

PORT EDWARDS – The Port Edwards Education Foundation (PEEF) board of directors has launched their 22th annual campaign for financial support of student enrichment projects for the School District of Port Edwards.
Board President Ed Heuer said that the campaign is geared toward extended student needs that can’t be funded through the traditional budgeting process.
“Over the years we have received countless ‘thank you’ messages from facility, support staff, and student groups solely because of (the foundation’s) efforts,” he said. “Since our foundation’s inception in 1996, we have now awarded well over 100 grants, and nearing $240,000 in total value. All this is possible through our annual Financial Campaign, our Blackhawk Scramble, and our Planned Giving initiative.”
