Florence H. Garfield, age 98, of Port Edwards, WI died Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home, Port Edwards, WI.

Funeral Services are 11:00 AM Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Wisconsin Rapids Moravian Church. Rev. Judy Ganz will officiate. Visitation will be held at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI from 4:00-7:00 PM Thursday and Friday at the Church from 10:00-11:00 AM. Entombment will be in Forest Hill Mausoleum.

Florence was born January 7, 1920 in Babcock, WI to John and Theresa (Meyers) Scott. She married Clarence “Spike” Garfield on April 14, 1938 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. He preceded her in death on February 1, 1998. Florence was a homemaker, who was a member of the Moravian Senior Citizens, the Moravian Church funeral lunch committee, and the church’s women’s board. She enjoyed flowers, playing cards and the time spent with her family especially her grandchildren,

Florence is survived by her son, Richard (Barbara) Garfield of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; daughter, Karen Barden of Stevens Point, WI; six grandchildren, Brian Garfield, Jenny Garfield, Terri (Jon) Rogers, Debbie (Jamie) Nix, Theresa (special friend-Bob) Marco and Lori (Ken) Nordman; five great grandchildren, Abbie (Carlos) Hardy, Keelia Rogers, Tahlia Rogers, Jessie Plante and Nicole Marco and three great, great grandchildren, Tyson, September and Caleb.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents, husband; daughter, Patricia Marco; grandson, Todd Barden; two sons-in-law, Richard Barden and Jerry Marco and six brothers and sisters.
