Eighteen LHS seniors earn WFCA academic award

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Eighteen seniors on the Lincoln High School football team have earned the 2018 Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) Academic All State Team Award.

The academic award recognizes teams, regardless of win-loss record, for the countless hours they have dedicated to the sport of football while maintaining an exceptional GPA.

The following 18 athletes have maintained a GPA of at least 3.3: Tyler Baldauf, Nash Coombs, Roger Fuller, Forrest Gross, Austin Hensley, Michael Iverson, Layne Kalata, Chase Kester, Connor McKellips, Ethan McKellips, Caleb O’Neil, Dakota Schaetz, Dawson Steckbauer, Sam Varsho, Sam Wallner, Justin Wefel, Joe Whitemarsh, and Garett Wiernik.
