WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Governor Scott Walker made a stop in Wisconsin Rapids Nov. 2, as part of his “Wisconsin is Working” campaign bus tour.

Walker was joined by Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch at Mariani Packing Company.

The visit was on a list of six stops for that day, which included Wausau, Rhinelander, Plover, Altoona, and Onalaska.

About 60 people gathered in support for the Republican governor, who will face Democrat and current State School Superintendent Tony Evers in the Nov. 6 general election.

Governor Walker was celebrating his 51st birthday the day of his visit.
