Jean M. Schiller, 92, Vesper, was called to her heavenly home on Thursday, November 1, 2018.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Pittsville with Father Nathan officiating. Burial will take place at St. Joachim Cemetery at a later date. A visitation will be held from 9:00 am until service time on Tuesday at church. Buchanan/Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Jean was born on November 2, 1925 in Vesper, Wisconsin to Alvin and Josephine (Hamm) Liebenstein. She attended Pittsville High School and graduated in 1944. She married Otto Schiller on June 19, 1952 at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Pittsville.

She loved to visit with family and friends. Her interests were cooking, baking, gardening, reading, and doing puzzle books. She loved when her siblings from far away would come and stay with her at the home farm where they all grew up. She was a member of St. Joachim PCCW, Vesper American Legion Auxillary, and Catholic Daughters of America. Jean loved her late husband, Otto, her 4 children and their spouses, 2 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Jean is survived by her 4 children, Anita Schiller and Laurie Schiller of Vesper, Jeffrey (Rita) Schiller of Wisconsin Rapids, Debra (Drew) Shymanski of Nekoosa, grandchildren, Samantha (Josh) Daugherty and Matthew (Barb) Schiller, and great-grandchildren, Niamh Sweet, Elizabeth Daugherty, Jack Daugherty, and Noah Schiller, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings, and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Atrium Post Acute Care for their wonderful care given to Mother.

Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
