PORT EDWARDS – The Alexander House is hosting “Beneath the Bark,” featuring work from members of the Central Wisconsin Woodturners Club, with an opening reception on Nov. 30, 5-8 p.m.

The Central Wisconsin Woodturners Club is a group of woodturners who meet monthly to share their knowledge and experience with others. The club started in January 2014 and meets the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Ridges Golf Course.

Each meeting features wood turning technique demonstrations and a chance for members to show what they have been making.  Members of the Central Wisconsin Woodturners Club exhibiting are: Jim Andersen, Steve Barker, Ken Boyles, Chris Brindley, Allan Dickman, Chuck Felton, Curtis Frost, Rick Georgeson, Doug Hamilton, Doug Handrick, Tony Kopchinski, Jeff Manor, Dave Moran, John Pastori, Keith Pilger, Mark Rehberg, Norm Saeger, Jean Schwin, Joe Varga, Curt Yustus, and Cindy Zubella.

The artists will be present at the opening reception. The exhibit continues through Jan. 8 at the Alexander House, A Center for Art and History, 1131 Wisconsin River Dr., Port Edwards.
