Columbus, Milwaukee boys move on in Cranberry Classic

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — The Columbus Catholic and University School of Milwaukee boys are moving on in the Assumption High School Cranberry Classic.

Columbus beat Nekoosa Nov. 23 in the first game of the varsity boys bracket, 75-61.
Jarred Mandel was high scorer for Columbus, with 22, while Noah Taylor added 16 and Ethan Meece added 14.
Keagan Kolo was high for Nekoosa, with 17, while Drew Doebereiner and Reuben Freeberg each added 13.
In the second game of the bracket, University School of Milwaukee beat the Assumption Royals, 69-47. Individual stats were not available for the second game.
Nekoosa will face Assumption in the consolation bracket Nov. 24 at 6:15 p.m. at Assumption, while Columbus and University School of Milwaukee move on to the championship game at 8 p.m.
