Raider girls sneak by Tigers

MARSHFIELD – The Wisconsin Rapids Red Raider girls basketball team edged out the Marshfield Tigers, 58-53, Dec. 11 at Lincoln High School.
The Tiger girls were led by Jenna Jakobi with 15, while Kaydee Johnson and Paige Preston each added 10.
Vanessa Vechinski was high for Rapids, with 15, while Chelsea King added 12 and Maddie Paitel added 11.
The Red Raiders will next face SPASH on Dec. 14 in Stevens Point, while the Tigers take on Merrill at home.
