Georgeson is sentenced

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – A South Wood County man will spend 15 years in prison for the death of his 15-month-old son.
James Georgeson, 33, of Wisconsin Rapids has been convicted of reckless homicide for the February 2017 death.
During a hearing, a witness testified Georgeson said the toddler threw a “sippy cup,” and Georgeson picked him up and shook him.
Georgeson was also sentenced Dec. 14 to serve 10 years extended supervision once released.
