WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Wisconsin Rapids Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) has a new executive director. Joining the bureau is Meredith Kleker.

Kleker said that she is excited to get back to her Wisconsin roots after residing in Florida the past couple years and is dedicated to promoting the Wisconsin Rapids area as a destination.

“What drew me to the area is the centralized location and dynamic variety of things to see and do, along with the welcoming feeling that community members exude,” she said

Kleker brings a strong background in communication and customer service and has worked in both the public and private sector. Previous experience includes serving the Pasco County Supervisor of Elections, Marketing Director of the Land O’ Lakes Winery, and Executive Director of the Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce, in addition to owning and operating her own small business.

“I am looking forward to learning and collaborating to promote the Wisconsin Rapids area,” Kleker said.

To speak with Kleker, visit the CVB office at 131 Second St. North, Wisconsin Rapids, call 715-422-4650, or e-mail [email protected].
