A visitation will take place from 9:30 am until service time with a rosary starting at 9:00 am, all at church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Judy was born on August 16, 1939 in Milwauke, Wisconsin to James and Syliva (Varick) Jacobus. She attended Oak Creek High School until 10th grade. Judy was united in marriage to Kenneth Datka on October 5, 1957 at St. James Catholic Church in Franklin, Wisconsin. She took pride in being a dairy farmer, housewife, and mother.

Judy always said that her biggest accomplishment in her life was being a loving Mother. She loved cooking, baking, and canning. She enjoyed painting and sewing. Judy began milking cows in Rudolph at age 41. She loved all animals, except snakes. Judy used laughter to get through both the good and tough times.

Judy is survived by her husband and children, Ken (Debbie) Datka of Mukwonago, Theresa (Gareth) Betts of Whitewater, Mike Datka of Arpin, Sue (Jeff) Sternberg of Hewitt, Rob (Linda) Datka of Wisconsin Rapids, Julie (Ron) Dorshorst of Rudolph. She is further survived by her siblings, Marilyn Maniscalo and James Jacobus of Rosewell, GA, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gordon.
