Apache girls slide by Nekoosa in close competition

AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale Apaches girls basketball team edged out Nekoosa during a nonconference game Dec. 18 at Auburndale High School.
The Papermakers led at half, 18-15, before the Apaches narrowly overtook them to win the game, 36-33.
Natalie Aue was high for Auburndale with 15, while Marissa Harnish led Nekoosa with seven.
