United way to recognize donors and volunteers

WISCONSIN RAPIDS– On Jan. 9, the United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties will recognize donors and volunteers at its “Thank You and Recognition Celebration” at Great Expectations, 3551 Plover Rd., Wisconsin Rapids, 4-6 p.m.

Donor to be recognized, include: Leadership Givers and Loyal Contributors and companies and organizations who had exceptional 2018 United Way campaigns in 2018

Each year, the United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties awards the following: the Per Capita Award – given out to employers with at least five employees and has per capita giving of at least $70, the Participation Award – given out to employers with a minimum of $50 per capita giving and at least 85 percent participation, and the Community Service Award – given to employers with a 10 percent increase in giving and 75 percent participation.

Anyone who has made a donation or volunteered for the United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties is welcome. The awards presentation begins at 5 p.m.
