Riverkings’ Bradshaw recognized by USPHL

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Riverking hockey’s Drake Bradshaw was recently recognized by the USPHL as MidWest Premier Goaltender of the Month for December.

Drake Bradshaw (’99), Lapeer, MI, was clutch throughout the month of December for a strong Riverkings team that went 7-2 overall and 4-0 at the USPHL Midwest Showcase.

Bradshaw earned one of his two shutouts of the month at the showcase. He never let in more than two goals in any one of his six appearances. He finished December with a 4-1 record personally, and a 1.34 goals against average. He faced 97 shots for the month and turned away 92 – for a .949 save percentage.

Drake’s overall .947 save percentage ranks him sixth in the 51-team USPHL Premier Division, among goalies with at least 10 appearances. He is seventh in league shutouts, with three so far this season.
