Assumption routs Port Edwards

PORT EDWARDS – The Assumption Royals girls took on the Port Edwards Blackhawks in a nonconference game Jan. 14 at John Edwards High School.
The Royals led at half, 32-18, but the Blackhawks made a valiant comeback in the second half; however, it wasn’t enough to secure the win. Assumption took the game, 53-45.
Elle Leberg was high scorer for the Royals with 24, while Maddy Bohn added 13.
Kaitlyn Lyp scored 22 for Port Edwards, while Taylor Martin followed with 13.
