WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Through the “DaVita Way Of Giving,” Davita of Wisconsin Rapids and Stevens Point recently donated $2,300 to the Never Forgotten Honor Flight of Central Wisconsin.

In addition, the group brought doughnuts to the veterans breakfast at American Heroes Café, Wisconsin Rapids

Honor Flight Co-founder and Vice President Jim Campbell, along with American Heroes Cafe co-founder Bill Haack, accepted the donation on Jan. 15, with 103 veterans present.

Campbell stated that “Four veterans will be able to take this trip of a lifetime” due to the donation.

Davita RN Lori Alft helped organize the check presentation. She said “It was a great way to say thank you to the veterans for the sacrifices they made.”
