January 31, 2019

Possible break-in

On Jan. 31 at 12:38 p.m. an employee of the Bradach Company in Rudolph requested to speak with a deputy regarding a possible break-in. They reported that they did not think anything had been taken or was missing, but stated that they nonetheless believed a break-in had occurred the previous night.

Lottery Loser

On Jan. 31 at 9:30 a.m., an employee of the Saratoga Mini Mart in Wood County reported that they suspected a possible theft. The employee requested to speak with a deputy about the possible theft of lottery tickets by another employee.

Cow Crossing

On Jan. 31 at 11:06 a.m., a Wood County resident reported that there were cows in the roadway. The individual reported that the cows were blocking roads near South 54th Way in Port Edwards.

Possible burglary

On Jan. 31 at 2:04 p.m., H. S. Protection reported that there had been a possible burglary at Tri City Golf Course in Grand Rapids. The protection service reported that the possible burglar had entered through the south rear door and that word from the keyholder was pending.

Median sign not doing its job

On Jan. 31 at 6:58 p.m., a Port Edwards woman reported a road blockage. The woman stated that there was a median sign in the lane of traffic. The incident occurred on Seneca Road and Wisconsin River Drive in Port Edwards.

February 1, 2019

School bus accident, no injuries

On Feb. 1 at 4:14 p.m., a Wood County resident reported that there had been an accident involving a school bus. The man stated that there were no injuries and no blockage, but that the incident had happened on South 56th Street and Helke Road in Grand Rapids.

Snowmobile Accident

On Feb. 1 at 5:24 p.m., it was reported that there had been a snowmobile accident. It was stated that the accident took place just west of 15th Avenue between Apache Avenue and Archer Avenue, 70 yards off of 15th.
