Sandra “Sandy” E. Reinicke, 78, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the United Methodist Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Pastor Joshua Pegram will officiate. Inurnment will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date.  A time of visitation for family and friends will be Friday, February 15, 2019 beginning at 9:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at the church.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.taylorfuneralhome.net.  Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the Reinicke family.

Sandy was born April 13, 1940 in Wisconsin Rapids to Seth and Viola (Harmacek) Ratelle. She graduated from Lincoln High School. Sandy married the love of her life, Elroy “Zip” Reinicke on October 6, 1962 at the United Methodist Church in Wisconsin Rapids.  They were blessed with 51 years of wonderful memories, until his death on March 10, 2014.

She was employed by Consolidated Papers, Inc., Wood County National Bank, and IGA. Sandy loved to interact with her customers, and always brought a smile to their faces. She was masterful in creating and maintaining her flower gardens. Sandy and Zip enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, and going to the races.  Above all, she cherished spending time with her family and friends, especially her great-grandchildren. Sandy is loved and will be deeply missed.

Sandy is survived by her children: Michelle (Mike) Reber and Monty Reinicke; her grandchildren: Mariah (Luke) Suzda, Rhett Reinicke, and Taylor Reinicke; her great-grandchildren: Lillian Suzda and Easton Suzda; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Don Reinicke, Tim (Beverly) Corbin, Ken Reinicke, Betty Kroeber, and Barbara (Pat) Mahoney; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, Sandy is preceded in death by two sisters, a sister-in-law, and three brothers-in-law.
