Aspirus welcomes Zipperer

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Aspirus Riverview Clinic in Wisconsin Rapids has welcomed Glenn A. Zipperer, MS, LCSW, ICS, CSAC.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Zipperer joins the clinic’s team of behavioral health professionals to help meet the area’s growing need for mental health and substance abuse services.
Zipperer specializes in working with adults who have mental, emotional, substance misuse, and criminality problems. He utilizes cognitive, behavioral, family system, solution focus, motivational, trauma informed, and mindfulness approaches with a Christian perspective.
“It’s a privilege and joy for me to help people build caring relationships by listening, comforting, advocating, encouraging and guiding them in a lifestyle conducive to health, hope and healing through wholistic integrated health care services,” said Zipperer.
Zipperer earned a Master of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin – Stout in Menomonie. In addition to being a licensed clinical social worker, he is an intermediate clinical supervisor and a clinical substance abuse counselor. Zipperer utilizes cognitive, behavioral, family system, solution focus, motivational, trauma informed, and mindfulness approaches with a Christian perspective. He has experience in outpatient, residential, inpatient and jail settings, and served as a therapist for the Ozaukee County Sheriff and Human Services departments, 1993-2018.
