For the Rapids City Times

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Heart O’ Wisconsin Genealogical Society will host “From Cradle to Coffin: How to Use Vital Records for Genealogy,” presented by Wood County Register of Deeds Tiffany Ringer.

A cornerstone of family history research, vital records document the key events in our ancestors’ lives and provide critical genealogical information. Ringer will present what types of land and vital records are available and how to access them.

The program will be held March 16 at 9:30 a.m. in the All Purpose Room at McMillan Library, 490 E. Grand Ave., Wisconsin Rapids.
