Re’Nae S. Ostrander

Re’Nae S. Ostrander, 67, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

A Celebration of Life gathering will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Inurnment will be at Plainfield Cemetery at a later date. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the Ostrander Family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.taylorfuneralhome.net.

Re’Nae was born January 29, 1952 in Kempster, WI to Martin and Betty (Costello) Kuehn. She married the love of her life, Robert E. Ostrander, Sr., on April 4, 1975. They were blessed with 14 wonderful years of marriage. Re’Nae worked as a bartender for several establishments in Wisconsin Rapids. She loved to hop in the car and head out on the road and enjoy the outdoors. Re’Nae could be found watching the critters outside her window, whom she would give special treats. Her cat Franky was more family then pet. Re’Nae was a diehard Green Bay Packer fan, whom stuck with them win or lose.

She treated everyone as if they were part of her family. Re’Nae was a family-oriented person, who cherished the times she spent with her children and grandchildren.  The zoo was a memorable spot for everyone. She was accomplished at horse shoes, darts, and pool.

Re’Nae is survived by her children: Deanna (Dean) Sorano, Robert (Debbie) Ostrander Jr., Ann (Richard) Godfrey, Sean (Brandy) Ostrander, Richard (Tracy) Ostrander, Tami (John) Peckham, Koreena (Keith) Krajewski, and Betty (Scott) Zaleski; her boyfriend, Larry Prust; her siblings: Carol (Rick) Mabry, Ray (Mary) Kuehn, Ginger (Dan) Blazel, Harry Kuehn, Gary Kuehn, Linda (Gary) Rohmeyer, and Shannon (Ed) Fota; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 9 nieces and nephews; and a multitude of great nieces and great nephews.  In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers, and a grandson.  Re’Nae is loved and will be deeply missed.
