United Way offers FamilyWize cards

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties is, once again, offering FamilyWize cards – a prescription drug discount card that saves residents up to 75 percent on prescription costs.
It is not an insurance card – it is a discount card. Anyone can use it; there are no age or income restrictions. FamilyWize partners with nearly all pharmacies nationwide to negotiate prescription discounts so clients receive a lower price.
FamilyWize Cards can be found at several locations in south Wood & Adams Counties, including the United Way office at 351 Oak St., Wisconsin Rapids. It can also be found in the “Help Guide for South Wood County” and “Help Guide for Adams County.”
Downloadable versions are available at www.uwswac.org/familywize. You can select from an English or Spanish version. You can also text “family” to 700700 or download the FamilyWize Mobile App from iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
