WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Governor Tony Evers made a stop at the Mid-State Technical College Wisconsin Rapids campus on March 5, where he learned more about the apprenticeship programs, touring labs and meeting current apprentices and employer sponsors.

The visit concluded with remarks from Governor Evers and Caleb Frostman, secretary designee of the Department of Workforce Development, as well as Mid-State’s president, Dr. Shelly Mondeik.
