Local wrestlers place at Stratford Youth Tournament

STRATFORD – Stratford Wrestling held their 35th annual youth wrestling tournment March 9 at Stratford High School, with over 250 wrestlers representing 30 wrestling clubs.
Local wrestlers placing, by division, were: 2012 – 2014 – 39-42 – 5th Place – Ren Kremer of Wisconsin Rapids; 2012 – 2014 – 43-46 – 3rd Place – Levi Jaminski of Wisconsin Rapids; 2012 – 2014 – 52-55 – 1st Place – Mattyx Peck of Wisconsin Rapids; 2010 – 2011 – 58-61 – 1st Place – Owen Reynolds of Wisconsin Rapids; 2010 – 2011 – 64-67 – 1st Place – Porter Spohn of Wisconsin Rapids; 2008 – 2009 – 49-54 – 3rd Place – Riley Downs of Wisconsin Rapids; 2008 – 2009 – 66-70 – 2nd Place – Chase Gethers of Wisconsin Rapids; 2008 – 2009 – 68-73 – 3rd Place – Gunnar Kremer of Wisconsin Rapids; 2006 – 2007 – 73-77 – 2nd Place – Sawyer Ostrum of Nekoosa; and 2006 – 2007 – 106-114 – 2nd Place – Cooper Meyer of Wisconsin Rapids.
