March 2, 2019

Bar Brawl

On March 2 at 1:35 a.m., it was reported that there were two male subjects in a Wisconsin Rapids tavern and that one of them got in an altercation with the bartender. The report stated that one of the subjects had a gun and that both looked as if they were in their 20s and wore black jackets.

Nightcrawler

On March 2 at 7:30 a.m., a Port Edwards resident reported that at 2:30 that morning the spotlight and yard lights of the property had come on, the dog began barking, and they spotted a male subject walking around near their pole shed. They stated that nothing was missing but that they would like extra patrol around that area at night.

March 4, 2019

Stolen lock boxes

On March 4 at 7:44 a.m., at Port Edwards male reported that he had arrived home to discover that two lock boxes were missing. The male stated that it did not appear as if there had been a forced entry, and that his son’s room had been gone through as well.

March 5, 2019

Runaway

On March 5 at 7 a.m., it was reported that a juvenile male was missing and is believed to be in the possession of a handgun. The report confirmed that the male in question was 16 years old, white, 5’10″, around 120 pounds, and has hazel eyes and blonde hair. He also has his right hand in a blue cast and is believed to be in the possession of a 380 light blue Walthier handgun that he is attempting to sell. The male was last seen wearing a black and red Columbia jacket, black high top Nike Jordans, and a gold chain necklace. He is also believed to be in the possession of ecstasy and marijuana which he may also be trying to sell.

March 11, 2019

Missing Minor

On March 11 at 11:35 it was reported that a 13-year-old minor was missing. The father of the minor reported that the boy’s mother, a Wausau resident, had picked him up on March 8 and was supposed to have him back by 5 p.m. on March 10, but that now neither of them were answering their phones and the school had reported the student as absent.
