Adams County reports water over roads, sand bags available

ADAMS COUNTY – The Adams County Highway Department is reporting water over roads in the following areas: State Highway 13 South of Adams at Edgewood Drive; State Highway 82 East of Eighth Avenue; and State Highway 21 in Arkdale.
County Roads have many areas where water is over the road.
Watch for these roads to be closed completely. Town roads have water over the road in many areas, please use caution when driving. Most roads in the town of Lincoln will be closed until further notice.
Please remember not to drive through standing water.
If you need sand bags and/or sand to fill them, you can obtain sand bags at the following locations: Adams County Solid Waste, 1420 Highway 21, Adams; Adams County Highway Dept Office , 1342 County Road F, Adams; or the Rome Municipal Building, 1156 Alpine Drive, Nekoosa.
You must bring your own shovels to fill sand bags.
