Seven Nekoosa youth wrestlers advance to state

NEKOOSA – The Nekoosa Youth Wrestling Club has seven wrestlers advancing to the Youth State Wrestling Tournament, with four individual champions and three second-place finishers. Representing Nekoosa in Madison are: Amiya Leverance, Daisha Storlie, Jacob Bertling, Jameson Clark, Joseph “Jojo” Bertling, Sawyer Ostrum, and Shae-Ella Clark.

The WWF Kids Folkstyle State Championships will be held March 22-23, at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison.  Wrestling begins at 11 a.m. Friday morning for boys born 2006-2007 and 2008-2009, with boys born 2004-05 and 2010-2011 competing on Saturday morning at 11 a.m.  Results and live streaming video will be available on trackwrestling.com.
