Enthusiasts to host Prairie Chicken Festival

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Another gathering of bird enthusiasts will meet April 13 to celebrate the 2019 Wisconsin Prairie Chicken Festival.
Events start as early as 4:30 a.m. and wrap up with a silent auction before the final speaker ends the day around 4 p.m. This year’s location is Nepco County Park, 1410 Griffith Ave., Wisconsin Rapids, in the enclosed shelterhouse for exhibitions and speakers, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
