Cultural Center offers 10 new workshops in April

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Central Wisconsin Cultural Center is offering 10 new workshops in April.

“Everything Photos on your iPhone and iPad” has three options for beginners, those who know the basics, and session with tips for those who want to learn more. Classes are April 3, 10, & 17.

“Sensory-Friendly Painting for Children” is ideal for children, ages 5-10, who are sensitive to texture or mess. This class will be held April 6. “Chicks & Bunnies Landscaping Stones for Children” will be held April 13.

“Mosaic Windows” is open to students of all levels and will be held Mondays, April 8, 15, 22, and 29. “Impressionistic Flower Painting Oil or Acrylic” will be held April 15 for those who have a working knowledge of setting up a palette and the use of brushes. “Mosaic Garden Art” will be held April 23 and is open to all levels. In the class, you will create a tall glass mosaic garden stake attached to rebar. Kintsugi Japanese Art of Repairing Ceramics” will be held April 24; you can give new life to pottery through this class, which is open to beginners. “Abstract Painting Oil or Acrylic” is April 29 and is open to intermediate or advanced level painters interested in learning how to paint in an abstract way.
